Maximum Ride; Reasons I'm Team FAX (spoilers)

Ok, let me explain. Two of the main characters, Max, and Fang, fall in love (TEAM FAX), then they break up (kinda) and get caught up in a love triangle (square?). Max gets involved with Dylan [Team Mylan :( ], and Fang gets sorta involved with Maya, Max's clone. Creepy, right?

So, I am completely and totally, with all my heart, team Fax. Want to know why?

1. Best Friends Forever!

Max and Fang have been best friends forever, and they have a long history, it was just so meant to be. They know everything about each other, and still love each other. Fang and Max has got to be the best fictional couple that I've ever read about. I don't think James Patterson is dumb enough to create the perfect couple and then break it up at the end. I hope he isn't dumb enough..

2."Right Wing Man"

Fang has always been Max's "right wing man". The second in command, who she looks to for help when she can't keep control, or when she has a tough decision to make. He's always been there for her, when she needs him, and when she would rather he not be there.

3. Fax just sounds so right

Mylan does not. Point Proven.

4. Uhm, sexy much?

Fang is sooooo sexy, I just love him! The way he is described in the books, he is the tall dark and handsome, quiet and mysterious, silent and dangerous, but loving, all at the same time. Who wouldn't want that?

Just Won 3 Books!

Last night I was bored & feeling lucky so I decided to enter some book giveaways on Goodreads. If you haven't heard of Goodreads, it is a reader's/writer's community where you can review, recommend, and talk about books you've read.
Goodreads has a HUGE selection of book giveaways. These are all given by the author or publisher in hopes to receive reviews in return. Which, of course, I will do my best to provide.
How did I win 3 books? I have no idea. I will admit that I ehm, signed up for every single giveaway that night.

Books I Won:

When I receive and read the books, expect to see a review posted here as well as on Goodreads.

Donate for FREE

Helping the needy is something many want to do but just don't have the time or energy to invest in weekly volunteering or the likes, so it just becomes another area of procrastination. However, with the computer and internet being as popular as it is today, it is possible to actually help the less fortunate right through your computer screen! There are actually websites that, with the help of ads and sponsors, are able to donate anything from water to vaccines to the poor.

Freerice is a 100% legit charity website that lets visitors answer trivia, and with every correct answer, 10 grains of rice is donated. It is also stated in their 'About' section that they strive to provide free education for everyone. The player has the choice of many different categories and levels, so you can learn some new vocabulary for your foreign language and help feed people at the same time!

The Nonprofits is a directory of many of the charity/nonprofit websites. It's categorized by -Education -Health -Animals -Environment and -Hunger/Poverty. The charities listed on this page require anything from just clicking a button to checking out sponsors. It's a huge variety of charities that is sure to help many people! Note that this website is not updated often and some links may be out of date.

Helping people is a great way to help yourself, as well. When you help someone, they feel good. When they feel good, you feel good. Honestly, just knowing that you did something to help someone is enough to make me smile!
